1. Information We Collect

When you use Data Conductor, we collect: (a) account information you provide during registration, such as your name, email address, and billing details; (b) usage data, including how you interact with the Service, which connectors you use, and general activity logs; (c) authentication tokens for the third-party ad platforms you connect, which are used solely to retrieve your advertising data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide and maintain the Service; (b) process payments and manage your subscription; (c) communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests; (d) improve the Service and develop new features; (e) comply with legal obligations. We do not use your advertising data for any purpose other than delivering it to your Data Studio reports.

3. Data Storage & Security

We do not permanently store your advertising data. Data Conductor acts as a pass-through, fetching data from your connected ad platforms and delivering it to Data Studio on demand. Account information and authentication tokens are stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok, Microsoft, and Google (Data Studio). When you connect these platforms, you authorize Data Conductor to access your advertising data through their APIs. Each platform's own privacy policy governs how they handle your data. We also use third-party services for payment processing (Stripe) and email communication (Resend).

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We may use analytics tools to understand how users interact with the Service. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to ad networks.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share information with: (a) service providers who help us operate the Service (payment processors, email providers); (b) law enforcement when required by law; (c) successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing our terms).

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your data; (d) object to or restrict processing of your data; (e) data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@dataconductor.io.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We take appropriate measures to ensure your data is protected in accordance with applicable data protection laws, regardless of where it is processed.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
